This is the guide.

The Insider Series is a monthly gathering and networking event for international professionals in San Diego who want honest, practical conversations about navigating life and work in the U.S. — from someone who has spent 16+ years helping people do exactly that.

This session includes:
— A 15-minute expert perspective on the topic
— 30 minutes of facilitated group discussion
— 30 minutes of open networking and socializing

No lectures. No PowerPoints. Just real conversation with a small, curated group of international professionals across industries who are figuring out the same things you are.

This month’s topic: Confidence & Connection

Confidence in a new country doesn’t come from knowing more — it comes from believing you’re allowed to take up space, speak up, and build real relationships even when you’re still learning the rules. We’ll talk about where that confidence actually comes from, why it can feel so hard to find in a new culture, and practical ways to build genuine connections — at work and beyond — without pretending to be someone you’re not.
