Welcome to VibeCraft.

We turn A.I. hype into real human results. Here's who we are, what we do, and where to find each part of the site.

Who we are

VibeCraft is a community of people in San Diego who build things with A.I. It was started by Professor Matthew Zimmer, Mr. Z, who builds with A.I. for a living and teaches people to do the same.

Our idea fits on a cap: build with purpose. Use a tool because it makes the work better, not because everyone's talking about it. We see smart people make two mistakes with A.I.: writing it off, and trusting it too much. Everything we do is about steering between the two.

What we do

Practice every weekWednesday mornings in San Diego, plus the occasional field trip: coffee, what's new in A.I. that week, and a low-stakes room to try the tools. No slide decks.See what's coming up →Train hands-onWorkshops built on real cases, and build competitions like the Slopathon: the challenge drops live, everyone builds to one deadline, then shows the room what they made.See past events →Teach how A.I. worksA.I. 101 is a book of 101 experiments you can do with a pen, a coin or a deck of cards. Teachers get handouts and a ready-made course to go with it.Open the book →Work with your teamTraining for your people in the work they already do, and events where you can meet the people who build with A.I.Train your team →
